What Is A Good Way To Make $200 A Week Online?

Earning extra money on the side is no longer a question of whether t’s possible or not, but a question of how much do you want to earn? I’ve listed over 20+ ways you can earn $200/week by spending a few hours of your week.

Table of Contents

The only thing that’s stopping you from earning $200 a week online is where you’re spending your time and effort.

As someone who has lived off in online hustles for over a decade, I can say this for sure, there’s no lack of opportunities in the online market.

In today’s article, I’ll tell you everything I know, based on my experience and relentless hours of research, on how anyone can make $200 a week online if they put their backs into it!

Ways You Can Make $200 A Week Online (Or MORE!)

My favorite way of earning an extra $200/week WITHOUT doing any work is through Dropservicing. It’s like dropshipping, but what you resell are services. Here’s how you can do it:

1.) Message local business owners/online business owners with this script

“Hi, My name is (your name)! I’m working with a team that specializes in graphic design. I’ve noticed you haven’t been posting on social media for any recent promos/events. I’d like to help you out with that. Let me know if you’re planning to have Valentine’s sale in the next week, and I’ll make something for you.”

Obviously, you can change the script and tweak it to fit your client and the event.

2.) Go to Fiverr and look for talented Freelancers who can do it for cheap

The freelancer I recommend for graphic design is this seller right here who has almost 400 positive reviews, and you can buy his services for only $5! If you don’t have a Fiverr account yet, you can sign-up using this link.

3.) Resell your service at a higher price

You can charge your service for twice the amount or more. A lot of freelancers do this to make an extra few hundred dollars, and this is how most agency owners start their businesses.

4.) Keep sending messages

In the beginning, you’re going to need a lot of patience and persistence. However, the method above costs you no money at all to start. It’ll only require effort when you’re just starting.

But if you want to take things seriously, enroll in a course to maximize your efforts. I recommend buying Colleen’s course for social media marketing (it’s only $26 for the full course).

ADDITIONAL TIP: If you want to sell to BIG companies and earn triple the profits, use Fiverr Business. You can create an account right here. It’s a business-tier marketplace for freelancers.

Paid Focus Groups

Companies have paid focus groups for their market research, which includes answering surveys. While there are online focus groups, there are ones that may require your physical presence.

You can earn up to $100/hour for participating in these focus groups.

Here are some of the websites I recommend along with your estimated earnings:

What I like about FocusGroup is that you don’t only get paid for participating in online surveys, but it also pays you to join in web chats, video diaries, and so much more!

On each survey, you can get paid $75 to $150. You can participate through your laptop, via call on your phone, or in person!

Your hourly incentive depends on your field of expertise.

If you fit any of these categories, you can easily earn over $100 per hour.

They have both online and in-person groups, and you can get paid $100 to $275 per study. They’re a trusted company that’s been paying participants since 1977.

However, they only accept residents from the U.S. to participate.

While Survey Junkie doesn’t pay as much as the other ones on the list, it is the most consistent. Anyone can participate, it’s completely remote, and the process is straightforward.

The only catch is that they don’t pay money, instead they go by a gift card. It’s not a bad deal though. The more surveys you complete, the more you earn.

You can earn $2 to $75 per completed survey.

This isn’t exactly a fun side-hustle, but the pay and workload are consistent. Transcription companies are always looking for new members for the team, meaning you can start ASAP.

Apply to these websites and start earning:

The typing speed requirement on average is 60 words per minute, make sure to take a typing test first to measure your speed.

You can get paid $5 to $25/hour, depending on how fast and accurate you are with the job. The good news is that it’s easy to increase your typing speed!

Writing is a good source of income and it’s a fun one, too! This is, of course, if you enjoy writing.

A reason why I like taking writing gigs is that you can choose what you want to write about. So yes, you don’t have to write about law-related topics or how to fix your plumbing articles.

Instead, you can write about movies, anime, celebrity gossip, the latest fashion trends, and well, so much more!

Here are writing websites that you can apply for a gig:

  • Fiverr – You can choose your field of expertise, rate, and accept/reject requests.
  • Upwork – A large platform where thousands of clients are looking for writers.
  • List Verse – Write a list article and get paid $100 for every listicle!

If you can spend at least 4 hours a week working and writing an article, you can easily make $200 a week or more.

If you want to earn more and take it up a notch, I recommend reading my article on amateur blogging

I talk about how you can earn managing a website (even as a complete beginner) and how you can scale it to earn up to $5,000/month.

Rent Out Your Room

If you happen to have an extra room in your house, renting it out on Airbnb is a good way to earn $200 a week.

For tourist destination areas, this can turn into a lucrative source of income. If you’re not comfortable with renting out a room, then renting out a car park space is also an option.

Online Tutor

If you want to consistently earn $200 a week, becoming an online tutor is a good choice. You can tutor foreign students in English or in other subjects.

It’s easy to get hired to become an online tutor because companies are always looking for a capable teacher.

Receive Monthly Tips To Increase your Income

Don’t tell anyone, but it’s completely free (for now) 🤫

There are some companies that may require a degree and other certificates, while there are others that only need you to pass their test.

You can also post your services on Facebook or on other social media platforms. You may get clients from referrals.

Sell Your Items

If you want quick cash, look for items you don’t need and sell them on eBay, Facebook marketplace, or Craigslist.

I have a friend who started her side-hustle by selling her old clothes and items online. She later used her earnings to buy and resell clothes and then built a steady source of income from there.

Get FREE Items and Resell

There’s an option on craigslist wherein you can get FREE items, and these are in perfect working condition.

All you need is a truck to haul them in and resell them on other marketplaces. Here’s an example I found on Craigslist:

So, why don’t the owners sell it themselves?

There are some people who can’t be bothered. They may have a busy schedule or they just want the items gone ASAP because they’re moving or renovating.

Either way, it’s free real estate for the side-hustlers out there. If you’re consistent, you can easily earn $200 a week!

P2P Lending

Once you have earned money by selling items online or if you already have savings, peer-to-peer lending is a passive way to earn income.

You don’t have to find borrowers, P2P platforms do the work for you, and they also make sure you receive your interest by the due date.

You can check out Lending Club if you’re interested.

Create TikTok Videos

…and sell your services to businesses.

If you enjoy watching videos on TikTok and maybe even post videos yourself, you can sell your services to clients.

Most businesses haven’t adapted to YouTube or TikTok yet, you can pitch them your service by offering a complimentary video.

You don’t have to become a professional video editor to start earning money, as long as you understand the trends, style, and elements to make an engaging TikTok video, you’re good to go.

Design Logos and Graphics

If you want to learn from the pros at an affordable price, I recommend checking out Fiverr Learn, you can have a mentor teach you about adobe illustrator for only 20 bucks. It’s worth the investment and it’s a skill you’ll use for a long time.

I’ve mentioned this in my other articles, but I’ll say this again – you don’t have to be an expert! *Sorry, Paola! (Our graphic designer)

If you’re someone like me, who doesn’t have the slightest idea on graphic designing, using adobe photoshop, and other professional tools, I have some good news for you!

My magic trick is…Canva! Yup, just drag and drop and you’re done. For originality, you can add your own flair and elements.

You can find clients on Upwork, Freelancer, or even Facebook! Send a message to your local establishments and offer your service to them (do this when there’s an upcoming event!)

Micro Tasks

Apply to MTurk where you can complete micro tasks and get paid. Amazon Mechanical Turk has thousands of tasks on its platform, so if you have a lot of free time, this might be a good hustle for you!

These menial tasks include identifying objects and transcribing audio recordings. They’re mundane, easy-to-do, and most importantly, it pays the bills.

Print On Demand

A business that anyone can start without any capital is print on demand, and this is Wholesale Ted’s favorite way of earning money.

You can watch her informational video on how you can start your own business for FREE! As long as you know your target audience and the trends, then you have a business right there.

Bookkeeping is a great side hustle if you like numbers and keeping track of finances.

You don’t need a dedicated degree to work as a bookkeeper, but you can find useful videos on the basics of bookkeeping on YouTube. Or you could even take courses online.

You get paid by the hour, and the pay is anywhere between $15 to $45, so earning an extra $200/week is definitely possible.

Give Virtual Tours

I’ve talked about it in my article on how you can get paid by being a virtual friend. You get paid by the hour, and it can be up to $50 or more, depending on your skills.

For example, if you know how to cook, a client may want to book you as a friend to discuss dishes and recipes.

Or if you’re a good listener, clients may book you to listen to their problems. I call it being an unlicensed therapist for them.

People who are planning to travel to your area may also want to learn more about your city before they make the final decision.

They’d ask about local restaurants, prices, and food to help them in creating the itinerary.

Customer Service Representative

It’s easily one of the most in-demand jobs globally. Companies are always looking to hire, and you don’t even need the experience to get onboard because training is normally provided.

The only downside to this is they often need full-time people for their projects. However, you can find part-time CSR gigs as well.

Do Homework

I know, it’s not a great way to spend your free time, but you can make a consistent cash flow by doing someone else’s homework.

If you have a subject that you’re particularly good at, then you can monetize it! Here are some sites where you can get students to pay:

Voice Overs

This isn’t for everyone, but if you have a pleasant-sounding voice, you can turn it into cash by doing voiceovers.

If you don’t have any experience, it’s okay, you gain experience by working on Voices and Voice123

You do need to invest in equipment before you get started, such as a microphone, headphones, and software. If you already have these at home, then all you need is to practice and gain experience.

Sell Art

If you’re an inspiring artist, you can monetize your skill by selling pieces of your artwork on Etsy, Amazon, and Saatchi Art

Sell your paintings, drawings, or convert your work into printables and sell it online. Or you can start accepting customized orders, too! It’s a lucrative business during Holidays, events, and birthdays.

Social Media Management

Speaking of which, there are plenty of businesses that aren’t keeping up with their socials, which is a big opportunity lost.

Look for local businesses in your area and pitch your service. Yes, this can include managing their TikTok account.

Most local businesses use IG/FB to post, so if you notice they haven’t been active for a while, they’re going to need your service.

Virtual Assistant

Employers are in constant need of a virtual assistant, so it’s pretty easy to land a job if you like staying organized, doing data entry work, and researching.

You can sell your services on Fiverr on a freelance basis or you can get a part-time job on Upwork.

Sell Stock Photos

I have a more in-depth post right here if you want to learn more.

If photography is your thing, even if you’re an amateur, you can sell them on stock photo platforms, like iStockPhoto and Snapwire.

Or if you don’t mind taking photos of events, places, and people, you can offer your services online. You can make a pretty good income, especially during certain seasons.

Make and Sell Crafts

I used to do this as a teenager, and let me tell you, you can make bank by selling DIYs! In my case, I was selling handpainted shorts on Instagram.

It helped me earn and save money during summer. Nowadays, people are earning money by selling homemade candles, tie-dye shirts, and woodcrafts.

People love custom and homemade things, so if you have a skill in crafts, you can start building your brand through your side-hustle.

If you love to bake, you can earn a good side income by taking orders and posting your baked goods online.

Create a dedicated IG/FB page for your products and start selling to friends, family, and to the local community.

I live in a small town, so when I was in this “baking” phase, what I did was leave my products at the local convenience store so the products could just sell themselves. I’d pick up the sales by the end of the day. Of course, the store owner earns a commission.

If you like spotting grammatical errors in someone else’s work, you’re going to have fun as a proofreader.

e-Book writers, bloggers, and scriptwriters are in need of proofreaders to double-check their work.

If you have experience in proofreading, you can check out ProofreadingPal, but if you don’t you can find clients on Fiverr.

Make $200 A Week Online: Is It Possible?

Yes, it’s possible! You can do any of these side-hustles in your spare time and earn over $200/week.

When you first start these gigs, you’re going to need adjustments before you can get into your momentum.

If you want to earn more, you can choose more than one hustle as long as it’s doable for you!
